ITINERARY:
Day 01 - Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 - Mumbai
AM. Restup to recuperate from long flight. Noon. Briefing and orientation, followed by afternoon sightseeing tour of Mumbai.
Visit Prince of Wales Museum, the Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hills with views of Marine Lines and Chowpatty Beach. Tour Dhobi Ghat, the Afghan Church, Flora Fountain, the colorful Crawford market and Marine Drive.
Day 03 - Mumbai/Udaipur
AM. Transfer to Gateway of India for a motor launch excursion to the Elephanta caves. PM. Transfer to airport and board flight for Udaipur (Daily). On arrival transfer to hotel
Day 04 - Udaipur
Day excursion to Ranakpur to visit a 15th Century Jain Temple. Later take a sunset boat ride on lake Pichola
Day 05 - Udaipur
AM. Visit the City Palace, Sahelion Ki Bari and the Folk Art Museum.
PM. Transfer to airport and board flight for Jaipur. Transfer to hote on arrival.
Day 06 - Jaipur
AM. Visit Amber Fort on elephant back.
PM. Visit City Palace & the Astronomical Observatory.
Day 07 Jaipur/Sawai Madhopur
AM. Drive Jaipur -Sawai Madhopur. Arrive Sawai Madhopur and check into hotel. Evening game viewing drive in Ranthambore National Park.
Day 8 - Sawai Madhopur
Spend entire day viewing wildlife at Ranthambore National Park.
Day 9 - Sawai Madhopur
Spend second day viewing wildlife at Ranthambore National Park.
Day 10 - Sawai Madhopur/Bharatpur
AM. Drive Sawai Madhopur - Bharatpur. Drive thru countryside and experience rural life. Evening cycle rickshaw ride in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park famous for its wetlands and birdlife.
Day 11- Bharatpur/Agra
AM. Boat ride in the park for bird viewing. Later drive Bharatpur-Agra stopping by en route to visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Agra and check in at hotel.
Day 12 - Agra/Delhi
Full day sightseeing tour of Agra; Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-daulah. Evening board Agra/Delhi Shatabdi Express train
Day 13 - Delhi/Kathmandu
Morning fly Delhi/ Kathmandu, (Daily).
Day 14 - Kathmandu
Morning City sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and Swayambhunath. Afternoon excursion to Patan.
Day 15 - Kathmandu/Royal Chitwan
AM Fly Kathmandu to Meghauly (flight details to be advised). Time permitting visit the Royal Chitwan National Park.
Overnight at Jungle Lodge.
Day 16 - Chitwan
Morning and Afternoon Elephant Safari inside the Chitwan National Park.
Overnight at Jungle Lodge.
Day 17 - Chitwan/Kathmandu/Delhi
In time transfer to Meghauly airport to board the flight for Kathmandu.
Day 18 - Departure
Transfer to airport for onward flight |
