 Introduction
This is the ultimate trakking adventure. Fly into the remote airstrip at Simikot in the far north west of Nepal and begin the trek through Humla ñ an area far from the main trekking trails - towards the once forbidden Tibetan border at taklakot. Having crossed the border we are met by vehicles for the drive onto Manasarovar and the sacred Mt Kailash (22,028') where we take a three day pilgramge "kora" around the mountain before returning to Kathmandu by road. |
