Day 01 - KUNMING (D) Arrival Kunming and transfer to the Pinnacle Tian Hong Hotel. Visit of the city (if time permits it): the lively flower and bird market and the old city around Baoshan street Dinner and overnight at the Pinnacle Tian Hong Hotel.
Day 02 - KUNMING (B/L/D) In the morning, drive to the Western Hills and take the chair lift for a ride up the hill. A very quiet pleasant journey through beautiful scenery overlooking the Dianshi Lake. At 2200m above sea level, a path winds down to the famous "Dragon Gate". On the way back, discover the Huating Buddhist temple. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover the Yuanlong Temple, a Tang Monastery with a history of over 1200 years and the Green lake.
Dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a Yunnan cultural show at the Kunming theater. Overnight at the Pinnacle Tian Hong Hotel
Day 03 - KUNMING - STONE FOREST (Shillin) (B/L/D) Departure by coach for the Stone Forest. Ontheway, you will visit the Taoist Golden temple, a jade factory and an ostrich farm. Lunch en route in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will explore China's most remarkable natural phenomena. It consist of 80 hectares of innumerable bizarre shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270 millions years ago. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Sani minority.

Day 04 - STONE FOREST (Shilin) - SHIZONG - XINGYI (B/L/D) In the morning, you will discover the Naigu Stone Forest which is located 12km from the other one. The black rocks here account for its name, for "Naigu" in the language of the Sani people means "black". The ranges and peaks in Naigu Stone Forest rise straight out of the ground, imposing and magnificent. On the way to Xingyi, you will stop at local markets in Shizong and Luoping. Lunch en route at a local restaurant On arrival, at Xingyi, visit the Miao and Buyi minorities Museum. Xingyi is located in Guizhou, one of the most backward and sparsely populated province of China. Mountains and plateaus make up some 87% of the area. Dinner and overnight at the Panjiang Hotel.
Day 05 - XIINGYI - HUANGGUOSHU (B/L/D) Excursion to the "Ten Thousand Peaks" an extraordinary landscape of karstic mountains before exploring the Maling Gorge. After lunch, drive to Huangguoshu. On the way, visit of Miao and Buyi villages with their fascinating customs and elaborate skills in architecture, dress and handicrafts. Dinner and overnightatthe Huangguoshu Hotel.
Day 06 - HUANGGUOSHU (B/L/D) Discover China's biggest waterfall with a width of 81 meters and a drop of 74 meters into the Rhinoceros Pool. The main falls are the central piece of a huge waterfall, cave and karst area covering some 450 sqkm. After lunch, you will visit the Dragon Palace or Longgong, a spectacular series of underground caverns which form a network through some 20 mountains. On the way back, you will stop at a Buyi settlement. The Buyi are the "aboriginals" of Guizhou. They number 2 million, mostly spread over the southwestern part of the province. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the Huangguoshu Hotel.
Day 07 - HUANGGHOSHU - KAILI (B/L/D) Long drive to Kaili, a fairly uninspiring kind of place but it is the gateway to the minority areas of southeastern Guizhou. Kaili and the areas around it are host to a large number of minority festivals -over 130 annually. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the Kaili Hotel.
Day 08 - KAILI (B/L/D) Stroll around the famous Sunday market where you will discover the colorful costumes of the different minorities. Visit the moderately interesting minorities museum. After lunch, excursion to some of the most beautiful villages where you will also be able to attend a traditional dance and song performance. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnightatthe Kaili Hotel.
Day 09 - KAILI - RONGJIANG (B/L/D) Drive to Rongjiang and cross the Leigong Passat 2187 m. At this crossroad ofthe provinces of Guangxi, Guizhou and Hunan, you will discover breath taking panoramas of rice terraces. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the Rongiiang Guesthouse
Day 10 - RONGJIANG - SANJIANG (B/L/D) Drive through attractive and peaceful countryside and explore Zhaoxing, an incredible Dong minority village with a total of five drum towers. Discover also the very famous wind and rain bridges of the Dong. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the Chengyang Hotel.
Day 11 - SANJIANG - LONGSHENG (B/L/D) In the morning visit of Chengyang Wind and Rain bridge. Over 8O years old, this elegant covered bridge is considered by the Dong to be the finest of the 108 structures in Sanjiang county. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, arrival at the Longsheng where you will find the dragon's backbone rice terraces. A 2 hours walk through rolling hills sculptured with rice terracesa nd studded with Yao minority villages will deliver an amazing vista. The Longsheng area is home to a colorful mixture of Dong, Zhuang, Yao and Miao minorities. Dinner and overnight at the Longsheng Guesthouse.
Day 12 - LONGSHENG - GUILIN (B/L/D) Drive to Guilin through marvellous countryside. Guilin has always been famous in China for its superb scenery and has been eulogised in innumerable literary works, paintings and inscriptions since its founding as the most beautiful spot in China. Lunch at a local restaurant. On arrival at Guilin, check in at the Sheraton Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Sheraton Hotel.
Day 13 - GUILIN - HONG KONG (B/L/D) Once you are in Guilin, you cannot afford to avoid taking a boat trip along the Li River. The Li River is the connecting waterway between Guilin and Yangshuo and is one of the main tourist attractions of the area. You will take a boat trip on the Li River where you will see some extraordinary peaks, sprays of bamboo lining the riverbanks, fishermen in small boats and picturesque villages. Lunch on board the boat. Visit of the small town of Yangshuo a small town that is admittedly getting bigger on the back of its renowned sheer scenic beauty, before driving back to Guilin. Dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to airport for evening flight to Hong Kong.
