Day 01 - KUNMING - ARRIVAL (D) FRI Meet on arrival at Kunming airport and transfer to hotel Dinner and overnight at the Pinnacle Tian Hong Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 02 - KUNMING - STONE FOREST - KUNMING (B/L/D) SAT Visit the Stone Forest, one of China’s most remarkable natural phenomena, located 98 kms southeast of Kunming. It consists of 80 hectares of innumerable bizarre - shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Sani minority, a branch of the Yi tribe (reputed for their diligence, valour, wisdom, exquisite embroidery and melodious songs and graceful dances) who also offer cultural performances nightly. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Drive back to Kunming for overnight at the Pinnacle Tian Hong Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 03 - KUNMING - LIJIANG (B/L/D) SUN Kunming-Lijiang by Yunnan Airlines Sightseeing of the Old Town of Lijiang which is regarded as the "Oriental Venice", unsophisticated and picturesque. Visit the Yuquan (Jade Fountain) Park also called “The Black Dragon Pond” renowned for its over 500 kinds of flowers and various famous pavilions, such as Longshen Pavilion, Deyue Pavilion and Wufeng or Fayon Pavilion. Take cable car ride up the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the much famed mountain with thirteen peaks resembling Jade Pillars. The broad pastures on the mountainsides present a splendid view. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Grand Lijiang Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 04 - LIJIANG (B/L/D) MON Drive 94 km (2 hrs) to the world-famous Grand Canyon Tiger Leaping Gorge which is one of the deepest canyons of the world. After lunch, continue (64 km - 1 hr) to Shigu, to visit the miraculous First Bend of the Yangtze River. Dinner and overnight at the Grand Lijiang Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 05 - LIJIANG - DALI TUE From Lijiang, drive 200 km south (4 hrs) to the famous ancient city of Dali. Visit Butterflies Fountain where hundreds of species of butterflies, different in siZe and colour flutter around. After lunch, visit the honorable age-old Three Pagodas, symbols of outstanding architectural technology, the wisdom of the ancient labouring people and the brilliant culture of Dali. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Asia Star Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 06 - DALI (B/L/D) WED Enjoy the most beautiful scenery and cruise on Erhai Lake also known as Yeyu Pond, one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China including Folk Dance Show, Fish-Hawk Show, Xizhou Town, market and old city. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Asia Star Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 07 - DALI - KUNMING - JINGHONG (B/L/D) THU Dali-Kunming by Yunnan Airlines.
Start a 40-minute on good road (30 kms) to the Western Hills followed by a 10 minute chairlift ride up the hill, a very quiet, pleasant journey through beautiful scenery overlooking the vast (25-krns long) chairlift station at 2,200 m above sea level a path winds down to the famous "Dragon Gate" hewn out of the rocky cliff overlooking the Lake, 300 m straight below. At the entrance of the Western Hills, visit the Chinese Mahayana Buddhist TAI HUA temple, an interesting site with many wooden Buddha statues covered with gold paint. Lunch at local restaurant.

Day 08 - JINGHONG - KUNMING (B/L/D) FRI Jinghong City Tour; visit the natural forest Manting Park with the ancient Manting Temple in the middle, the White Pagoda and the Octagonal Pavilion, Folk Culture Villages. Lunch at local restaurant. Flight to Jinghong-Kunming by Yunnan Airlines. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Pinnacle Tian Hong Hotel or similar accomodations.
Day 09 - KUNMING - DEPARTURE (13) SAT Free time at leisure until transfer to the airport for departure Depart Kunming by international flight for next destination.
